I am a gamer, I am a coder and I love pizza.
I was born in the year 1987, the year that The Legend of Zelda (US), MegaMan and Metal Gear was released. During my childhood I’ve been interested in the story telling, writing, logic and maths. I grew up playing video-games and dreaming about having my own original game in the future. One of my inspirations is Sigeru Miyamoto, he is the creator of Super Mario, Legend of Zelda and many others and he teach me how an small idea can become the most successful game of all times.
During my childhood the most that I played was the Nintendo 64, this console change my life and the way that I see video-games now. Playing “The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” or “Majora’s Mask”, “Super Mario 64” or “Donkey Kong 64” make me know that my future is attached to adventure games involving platforms, action, puzzles and most important: a really good story. Later on I’ve got a pc and I played tittles like Age of Empires, Warcraft, Counter Strike, etc.
Since I was 17 years old I manage to play nearly everything that was released in the market, special mention to Bioshock, Mass Effect, Dead Space, the Batman Arkham series from Rocksteady. I am passionate about coding and I love video-games and that is why I’m becoming a games developer.
My coder side comes from the fact that I am interested in the new technology and the way that humans programs the machines to do as they tend to. I start coding in 2009 in C++, doing small Console Applications and later on I started to develop websites. At the moment I work as a web developer for an IT company. I do WordPress develop for marketing purposes and also working on my company’s intranet; adding and maintaining new features to help my colleagues to do their jobs.
For the past two years I’ve been developing the idea of my own video-game. I am forming a small team willing to become bigger and my role in this game is the game designer, programmer and production. The artist is Guillermo Rodriguez. I still have to find an animator, audio designer, music composer.
My short goal is to be able to finish and publish my own video-game and become a part o the history. The long goal is that this game evolves in a new saga that will be remembered with love and passion from every gamer.
